Lucky Luke is a humorous French-Belgian western comic strip series created by Belgian cartoonist Morris in Almanach 1947, a special edition of the journal Spirou published in 1946. From the ninth story onwards, Morris was assisted by several scriptwriters, the most famous of whom was René Goscinny. Since Morris's death in 2001, Achdé has been responsible for the drawings.
