Here are the track shoes from the late 70s: Mercury: vintage design, modern style.
The upper evokes lines from the past, highlighted by archive shades. The oversized stabiliser, however, directs the sole towards a design that is decidedly more current and authentic.

Mercury Elite Silver Used WN: 70s design, 2000s running style. Their chunky look features a lamé mesh upper and metallic leather inserts. We opted to juxtapose a stone wash treatment, with a 100% Heritage style, alongside a pronounced polish on the sole. A deliberate nod to the Y2K running aesthetic.
