Ace'98 Marino plays with two shades of blue around a cream upper. The navy blue highlights the edge of the collar and the bottom of the sole, while a light blue insert dresses the heel. The light side logo and cream laces balance these contrasts. Inspired by 80s tennis sneakers, this vegan shoe combines a low silhouette, stitched cutouts, and a thick sole with pronounced relief. Materials and craftsmanship from Portugal The Ace'98 Marino is handcrafted in a family workshop in Vizela, Portugal. Its upper is made from a material based on pesticide-free grown grains, consisting of 73% -PU and 27% recycled polyester. The sole and logo incorporate particles from used tennis balls, sourced from partner clubs in Portugal. The outsole contains 40% recycled synthetic rubber. Flexibility and removable insole The construction is based on a Strobel assembly, which promotes flexibility. The lining combines 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester; the removable insole is made from 100% recycled foam. The laces are made from 100% recycled cotton to adjust the fit. The assembly glue is vegan, made from resin.
